Texas McDonald’s Cancels Move To Mexico…

Owner Credits Trumponomics

Even before he takes office, Donald Trump’s policies are turning the US economy around. The best example of this can be found at a McDonald’s Restaurant in Fredricksburg, Texas.

As franchise owner Harvey Lipschitz explains, “Prior to the election our business was as cold and lifeless as our two-hour-old french fries. I was planning to lay everyone off and move the whole freakin’ franchise to Tijuana. But when I woke up on November 9th and found out that Mr. Trump had won, I knew we were saved.”

For his part, Donald Trump took full credit. In a series of Tweets he remarked:

“Yes. I saved the Fredricksburg, Texas McDonald’s, and probably the whole franchise”

“Not to mention Wendy’s, Burger King, Popeyes and Taco Bell”

“Maybe not Taco Bell”

“Making America great again is even easier than I thought”

Economists hailed this outcome as a highly significant event, because, as they say in the trade: “As the Fredricksburg, Texas McDonald’s goes, so goes the nation.”
